ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced
Design & Development (D&D;) Head
. The role carries end-to-end ownership of new machinery development and the enhancement of existing product lines, covering design strategy, engineering execution, prototyping, validation, and documentation. The position combines deep mechanical design expertise with team leadership and cross-functional coordination across Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Service. Products mainly Textile Printing Solutions – Digital, Flatbed, and Rotary as well as Stenters.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Design and R&D; department for the development of recent machinery and enhancement of existing products
- Define product design strategy aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and market trends
- Manage concept development, engineering calculations, 3D modelling, detailing, prototyping, and product validation
- Drive innovation through research on new technologies, materials, manufacturing processes, and automation solutions
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Service teams to achieve manufacturable and cost-effective designs
- Lead Value Engineering (VE) and Value Analysis (VA) initiatives
