Job Purpose

To design, implement, and oversee robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) compliance frameworks. The AML Consultant will perform risk assessments, monitor transactions, ensure adherence to statutory regulations, and safeguard the organization against financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Strategy & Risk Assessment:

· Perform enterprise-wide AML/CTF risk assessments and design tailored compliance strategies.

· Continuously evaluate and update company policies in line with evolving regulatory standards.

Transaction Monitoring & Investigation:

· Analyze complex financial transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activities.

· Conduct thorough investigations on flagged transactions and prepare detailed Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs / STRs).

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) & KYC:





· Oversee High-Risk Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.

· Ensure accurate screening against global sanctions lists, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) databases, and adverse media.

Regulatory Reporting & Audit:

· Serve as a key liaison for regulatory bodies, internal/external auditors, and law enforcement agencies.

· Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory filings and compliance reports accurately and on time.

Training & Advisory:

· Provide expert advisory to internal business units on complex AML/KYC matters.

· Design and deliver AML training programs to build an organization-wide culture of compliance.
