Job Summary

The Assistant Branch Manager – Sales supports the Branch Manager in achieving business growth by driving sales, managing customer relationships, leading the sales team, and ensuring smooth branch operations. The role focuses on meeting revenue targets, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales and profitability targets.

· Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business and market share.

· Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.

· Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through field visits, referrals, and networking.

· Build and maintain solid relationships with existing and prospective customers.

· Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.

· Monitor daily sales activities and prepare sales performance reports.





· Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching, and training sessions for team members.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

· Coordinate with operations, credit, and support teams for timely service delivery.

· Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of sales staff.

· Monitor branch productivity, customer acquisition, and portfolio quality.

· Support branch administration and operational activities in the absence of the Branch Manager.

· Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

· MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

· 3–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in banking, financial services, insurance, retail, or a related industry.

· At least 1–2 y
