Job Summary

Varie Valves Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Production Engineer with 03 years of experience in an engineering manufacturing. (freshers will be considered) The candidate will be responsible for assisting the production manager in planning and supervising production activities, doing QC at vendors end (in Mumbai/ vasai ) improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production schedules to achieve targets.
- Supervise shop floor activities including machining, assembly, testing, and packing.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Monitor production output and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Monitor rejection, rework,



and production losses and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production reports, work orders, and daily production records.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Train and guide operators and technicians on production processes and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

Required Skills
- Experience in production planning and shop floor management.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Basic understanding of machine tools.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Thread Gauges.

Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software.
