•

Study and interpret existing and upcoming CMVR, AIS, BIS, ECE and other international automotive regulations.

•

Assist in formulation, amendment and revision of automotive regulations applicable to motor vehicles and components.

•

Prepare technical notes, regulatory proposals, draft notifications and supporting documents.

•

Coordinate with Government agencies, regulatory authorities and technical committees regarding formulation of automotive standards.

•

Participate in meetings of AIS, CMVR, BIS, TED and other expert committees whenever nominated.

•

Analyse domestic and international regulations and recommend their applicability in India.

•

Maintain records of regulatory changes and ensure timely dissemination within NATRAX.

•

Coordinate with certification engineers for implementation of newly introduced regulations.

•

Review technical documents submitted by manufacturers for regulatory compliance.

•

Provide technical guidance to customers on regulatory requirements applicable to vehicle certification.

•

Prepare presentations,



reports and technical documents related to regulatory activities.

•

Monitor amendments issued by MoRTH and other regulatory bodies and communicate their impact.

•

Support homologation and type approval activities by providing regulatory interpretation.

•

Liaise with OEMs, testing agencies and government departments regarding regulatory matters.

•

Maintain proper documentation of all committee proceedings, correspondence and regulatory records.

•

Assist senior officials in policy-related assignments and special regulatory projects.

•

Ensure compliance with quality management systems and organizational procedures.

•

Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer related to automotive regulations.

Educational Qualification

•

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Automotive Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
