Job Role: SIL/PIL Python Automation Engineer - Automotive

Experience: 3–8 Years

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain
SIL/PIL automation frameworks
using Python.
- Perform system validation and verification for automotive software and embedded systems.
- Support C-based software integration, debugging, and testing activities.
- Analyze system requirements and develop automation scripts for validation.
- Work with steering systems, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle architecture.
- Perform DFMEA activities in accordance with AIAG VDA guidelines.
- Support J1939 communication, system integration, and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.

Required Skills & Experience




- 3–8 years of experience in Automotive System Engineering or Validation.
- Solid hands-on experience with
SIL/PIL automation using Python
.
- Good understanding of
Embedded C
development.
- Experience with
J1939
, automotive diagnostics, and system validation.
- Knowledge of
Steering Systems
(EPS, Electric Power Steering, Electro-Hydraulic Steering) or Braking Systems.
- Experience with
DFMEA (AIAG VDA)
methodology.
- Understanding of
Vehicle Dynamics
, Vehicle Architecture, and System Engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of
ISO 26262
and
Zonal Architecture
is an added advantage.
