We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order processing, vendor follow-ups, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for production.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and develop new vendors for raw materials, hardware, plywood, laminates, veneers, fittings, packaging materials, and other manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors and evaluate their performance.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchases.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with the production and stores departments regarding material requirements.
- Verify inward materials against Purchase Orders and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with the stores team for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inward entries.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database,



quotations, and documentation.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning purchases to avoid stock shortages.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and vendor payments.

Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (experience in furniture or manufacturing industry preferred).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software.
- Robust negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and internal departments.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
