We are seeking an experienced and proactive AWS Cloud Support Engineer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and performance of our cloud workplace while providing technical support to internal engineering teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

*Technical Support & Incident Management*
- Serve as an escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure issues, performing root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent resolutions.
- Troubleshoot system outages, performance bottlenecks, and network connectivity issues across AWS services.
- Maintain and improve SLA response times for high-priority incidents and service requests.

*Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance*
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Manage compute instances (EC2), storage (S3, EBS, EFS), databases (RDS, DynamoDB),



and networking components (VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB).
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, patch management, and OS upgrades across Linux and Windows instances.

*Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)*
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational workflows.
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Assist in maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

*Security, Compliance & Cost Optimization*
- Implement and enforce AWS security best practices using IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, KMS, and AWS Shield/WAF.
- Monitor cloud costs, analyze utilization metrics, and implement cost-saving initiatives (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, resource rightsizing).
