Job Summary

Preet Group is seeking skilled, quality-conscious, and motivated Assembly Technicians / Assembly Operators for its Telescopic Covers Manufacturing Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling precision telescopic steel covers used in CNC machine tools while ensuring dimensional accuracy, smooth functionality, and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, sheet metal fabrication, precision engineering, and the use of measuring instruments. The role requires a solid commitment to safety, productivity, continuous improvement, and workplace discipline.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble telescopic steel covers in accordance with engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and production specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assemble and fit sheet metal components, guide rails, rollers, hinges, wipers, bearings, and fastening hardware with precision.
- Ensure smooth movement,



accurate alignment, and proper functioning of assembled telescopic covers.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and assembly quality using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Identify assembly defects, dimensional deviations, or manufacturing issues and promptly report them to the supervisor.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, assembly fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Maintain production efficiency while achieving daily production targets.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
