Role Description
The Reporter role at The WiNNERS Institute is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. In this role, the Reporter will research, gather, and verify information to produce accurate and engaging news and feature stories related to education, innovation, and institutional initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews, attending events, monitoring developments, and transforming complex topics into clear narratives for digital, print, and multimedia platforms. The Reporter will collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to develop compelling content, meet deadlines, and maintain high editorial standards. The role also involves staying informed about trends in education and media to help shape coverage and support the institute’s communication goals.

Qualifications
- Strong reporting and news writing skills, with the ability to gather, verify, and present information clearly and accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



including the ability to interview diverse stakeholders and convey complex ideas in accessible language.
- Proficiency in writing for multiple formats (articles, features, web content) and adapting style and tone to different audiences.
- Experience or familiarity with multimedia storytelling, such as basic photography, video, or audio content for digital platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, ethical judgment, and commitment to accuracy and fairness in reporting.
- Interest in education, innovation, and learning technologies; prior experience in education or edtech reporting is a plus.
