Role Description
The Baking & Patisserie Faculty will deliver high-quality instruction in baking, pastry arts,



and related culinary disciplines to diploma and certificate-level students in an on-site, full-time role based in Kodaikanal. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting practical and theoretical classes, demonstrating techniques in baking, desserts, chocolate work, and bread-making, and ensuring consistent adherence to professional hygiene and safety standards.

The faculty member will design lesson plans aligned with IICM’s curriculum and international standards, assess student performance through assignments and examinations, and provide constructive feedback and mentorship. The role involves coordinating with other faculty and management on academic schedules, events, and examinations, maintaining inventory of lab materials and equipment, and supporting student participation in competitions, workshops, and industry internships.
