Daily tasks include drafting and negotiating contracts, facilitating mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with corporate governance and venture capital. - Transactional Work: Structure and negotiate complex business transactions, including M&A;, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. [1]
- Contract Drafting: Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide array of business agreements, including licensing, employment, vendor, and partnership contracts. [1, 2]
- Compliance & Governance: Advise executive management on corporate governance, fiduciary duties, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. [1, 2, 3]
- Corporate Finance: Assist businesses with raising capital through equity financing, securities offerings,
and loan agreements. [1, 2]
- Risk Management: Assess legal risks associated with daily business operations and proposed strategic expansions. [1, 2, 3]
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree, and an active state or local bar license.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of financial markets, business strategy, and commercial operations to facilitate deals.
- Analytical Thinking: Keen attention to detail for conducting due diligence and interpreting complex statutes.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate legal risks to non-legal stakeholders
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
