Swachta, is India’s first community-owned, technology-driven sanitation and waste management platform. The organization connects trained ground workers—such as sewer cleaners, road sweepers, garbage collectors, and lake pickers—with municipalities, resident welfare associations (RWAs), NGOs, and citizens. By leveraging technology, Swachta aims to streamline waste management operations, improve accountability, and enhance service quality. The platform is focused on dignified livelihoods for frontline sanitation workers while enabling cleaner, safer urban environments. Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Co-Founder role based in Ghaziabad. The Co-Founder will help define and drive the company’s vision, strategy, and growth, working closely with other founding members, partners, and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing operations with ground workers and partner organizations,



developing and refining the business model, and ensuring effective implementation of technology solutions. The role involves building and managing relationships with municipalities, RWAs, NGOs, and citizen groups, as well as contributing to fundraising, partnerships, and overall brand positioning. The Co-Founder will also be responsible for setting performance metrics, guiding the core team, and ensuring that Swachta’s social impact and commercial goals are aligned and achieved.
