Requirements
L2/MAC Scheduler Expertise: Deep knowledge of MAC scheduling

algorithms, including their design, development, optimization, and debugging.
- Experience with Base Station Scheduling: Hands-on experience with MAC

scheduling on eNB (LTE), Small Cells, or gNB (5G).
- Systems Engineering: Participation in understanding design and

implementation, implying a broader system-level perspective.
- Customer Support (R&D;): Ability to analyze field issues, drive resolutions

with cross-functional teams, and escalate technical problems.
- Programming & Architecture:

- C/C++: Excellent coding, design, debugging, and architecture skills are

a must.
- Integration Understanding: Positive grasp of how L2 interfaces with L1

(Physical Layer) and L3
- RRC Message Sequences: Familiarity with Radio Resource Control (RRC)

message flows, which manage connection establishment and mobility.
- Debugging & Tools:
- Log Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing system logs to diagnose

issues.




- Specialized Tools: Expertise in using tools like QCAT (Qualcomm

Crash Analysis Tool, often used for UE logs) and Viavi (network testing

and measurement equipment) for system characterization.
