About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic Technology Operations Center (TOC) at Mizuho Global Services in Pune. This pivotal role involves supporting Mizuho Americas’ IT infrastructure by ensuring the stability, security, and performance of SQL Server databases across multiple deployment environments, including on-premises, virtualized, and cloud platforms.



As a key member of our mission control team, you will be responsible for providing Level 1 support, incident management, and proactive monitoring to maintain high availability and optimal performance of critical database systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art workplace, contributing to the strategic expansion of Mizuho’s technology landscape and supporting 24x7 operational excellence.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SQL Server administration, with relevant professional certifications and extensive hands-on experience. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. Foundational certifications such as Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL fundamentals are preferred.
