Role Description
The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate online math lessons to students in a remote, part-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching live classes, explaining mathematical concepts clearly, and adapting instruction to different learning levels. The teacher will create and refine lesson plans, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.



The role also involves collaborating with the academic team to align lessons with FcC’s curriculum goals and ensuring a supportive, inclusive virtual classroom environment.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts clearly.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, learner-centered math lessons.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching certification, ideally with experience teaching children and teens.
- Excellent online teaching, communication, and classroom management skills; comfort with digital tools and virtual platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices and the ability to motivate diverse learners in a remote setting.
