Manager- Placements role with a large Educational Group
Role Overview:
The Placement Manager will lead the institutions placement initiatives, ensuring maximum student employability and successful career outcomes. This role involves strategic planning, employer engagement, student grooming, and coordination of campus recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic placement plans aligned with institutional goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, recruiters, and alumni.
- Organize and manage campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and internship programs.
- Provide career counselling and placement guidance to students, supporting them through SIP and Final Placement processes
- Identify and tap opportunities in core companies and high-value brands.
- Conduct pre-placement training programs including resume writing, interview preparation, and soft skills development.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align student skills with market requirements.
- Maintain and update a database of potential recruiters and placement statistics.
- Coordinate with HRs of various organizations to explore placement and internship avenues.
- Monitor placement outcomes and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Promote career planning services through workshops, seminars, and classroom sessions.
- Lead and mentor the placement team and student placement council.
