Job Description – Production Head (Taper Roller Bearings)

ARB Bearings Limited is looking for an experienced Production Head to lead its Taper Roller Bearing manufacturing division. The role involves planning and managing daily production operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving machine utilization, reducing rejection and downtime, implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S, and coordinating closely with the Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams. The role also includes leading and developing production teams, monitoring key production KPIs, and driving operational excellence across the plant. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 15–20 years of experience in bearing manufacturing, including at least 8 years in a leadership role, along with robust expertise in Taper Roller Bearing manufacturing processes, CNC machining, heat treatment, grinding, assembly, and automated production systems.
