Job Purpose
New Product Quality Specialist (NPQ) is a platform core team member,



responsible for all aspects of Quality affecting New Product Development. As the "Point of Contact" for Quality in the platform, the NPQ is the Subject Matter Expert for all Quality planning tools and interfaces with the platform, plants and the regional and global quality departments. The NPQ is responsible for the entire quality plan for the assigned programs and, as a Core Team member, advocates for the extended quality and product support team (QPS), including Reliability Planning functions, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Quality and Reliability of products coming out of the platform teams
- Facilitate the adherence to the Global Product Development (GPD) regarding quality issues during each phase of the process ensuring appropriate timing between milestones. During the GPD phases, continuously assess the quality status of the program, take actions within the platform to address issues
