VAStushila Architects is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Draftsman Lead to oversee and manage the architectural drafting team while ensuring the timely preparation of accurate, high-quality technical drawings for residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the drafting process from concept development to construction documentation, ensuring that all drawings comply with design intent, statutory regulations, industry standards, and company quality benchmarks. The Draftsman Lead will work closely with architects, structural and MEP consultants, project managers, and site engineers to coordinate drawings, resolve technical discrepancies, and facilitate seamless project execution.

The successful candidate will supervise and mentor junior draftsmen, allocate work efficiently, review and approve drawings before issuance, and establish drafting standards that promote consistency and accuracy across all projects. Responsibilities include preparing detailed architectural working drawings,



construction drawings, Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, submission drawings, detailed sections, elevations, joinery details, faade details, and other technical documentation required during various stages of a project. The role also involves maintaining drawing revisions, ensuring proper document control, supporting quantity estimation through drawing verification, and continuously improving drafting processes by implementing best practices and contemporary technologies.

Applicants should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 510 years of professional drafting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
