Role Description
The Sourcing Engineer is a full-time role responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers to support the company’s marine equipment production. In this hybrid position, based in Bengaluru with partial work-from-home flexibility, the Sourcing Engineer will manage procurement activities,



negotiate with suppliers, and ensure materials and components meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing supplier capabilities, coordinating with engineering and production teams on technical specifications, and maintaining accurate sourcing documentation. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, and helping to mitigate risks related to supply availability and quality.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Quality to assess, qualify, and monitor supplier performance.
- Experience in Supplier Development to build long-term, collaborative relationships and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to manage sourcing processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely material availability.
