Hardware Design Engineer (Schematics & PCB Review) | 1–2 Years Experience

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Design Engineer with 1–2 years of experience, specializing in schematic design and PCB layout review, with exposure to microcontroller-based, MicroProcessor designs and high-speed interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic schematics for embedded hardware systems

• Work on designs using microcontrollers and
MicroProcessor
(TI, NXP, ST, Renesas)

• Select components and define circuit architecture

• Provide inputs, constraints, and guidelines for PCB layout

• Review PCB layout files focusing on signal integrity, grounding, routing, and component placement

• Validate designs involving SDRAM and high-speed serial interfaces

• Collaborate with PCB layout and cross-functional teams to ensure robust design implementation

• Maintain design documentation and support reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field

• 1–2 years of experience in schematic design and PCB layout review

• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design

• Hands-on experience with tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar

• Experience with microcontrollers: TI, NXP, ST, Renesas

• Knowledge of SDRAM interfaces and high-speed serial communication

• Good understanding of PCB fundamentals (stack-up, grounding, routing practices)

• Familiarity with protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
