Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, material planning, and sourcing of engineering components and services.



The ideal candidate should have robust negotiation skills, technical understanding of engineering materials/components, and the ability to ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

• Procure engineering materials, components, tools, and services as per project and production requirements.

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely deliveries.

• Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate with internal departments such as Production, R&D;, Stores, Finance, and Quality for procurement planning.

• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.

• Monitor inventory levels and support material requirement planning.

• Ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
