About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Application Engineer to join Champ3D’s agile team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between digital design and physical production, focusing specifically on design for additive manufacturing (DfAM).



The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of 3D printing technologies, including SLA, SLM, SLS, FDM, DLP, and MJF. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize digital models for additive processes, ensuring structural integrity, material efficiency, and successful post-processing outcomes. You will serve as a technical advisor and project lead, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate their concepts into optimized, print-ready files. Your expertise will also extend to secondary manufacturing processes such as vacuum casting and sheet metal fabrication, ensuring comprehensive solutions for complex projects.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in a 3D printing service bureau or similar environment. Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or PTC Creo is essential, along with strong knowledge of mesh preparation and repair s
