About the Role

We're a growing catering business building our kitchen operations from the ground up — and we need someone who treats every rupee of raw material spend like it's coming out of their own pocket. This role isn't just "track the stock." It's
own the stock, own the buying, and own the cost.

If you've worked in a startup kitchen, cloud kitchen, QSR, or F&B; business where you had to negotiate hard, hunt for better vendors, and make margins work with limited resources — this role will feel like home.

What You'll Own

Inventory Management
- Track all Stock In / Stock Out — raw materials, consumables, packaging — in real time. No leakage, no guesswork.
- Set up (or improve) a proper inventory system — manual, Excel-based, or app-based — suited to how our kitchen actually runs.




- Daily/weekly stock reconciliation — spot discrepancies before they become losses.
- Storage discipline — organize dry stock, perishables, and cold storage with proper labeling and FIFO rotation.
- Track wastage and spoilage patterns, and build habits in the kitchen team to reduce them.

Procurement & Purchase
- Own end-to-end procurement — identifying what to buy, when to buy, and how much to buy, based on event calendars and consumption patterns.
- Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers — quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery timelines all matter.
- Negotiate hard
— you'll be expected to consistently get the best possible rates without compromising on quality. This is a core, non-negotiable skill for this role.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships that give us leverage — better pricing, priority during high-demand periods, and adaptable credit terms where possible.
