- Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspection of castings against drawings, EN 124/ISO specifications, and customer-specific requirements.
- Perform dimensional checks using standard metrology tools (vernier, height gauge, go/no-go gauges) and record results accurately.
- Conduct visual and surface inspection for casting defects and support root-cause identification with the production team.
- Maintain in-process rejection records and support daily/weekly rejection data consolidation and reporting.
- Carry out load testing and other EN 124-mandated tests as per protocol, and maintain test certificates and records.
- Ensure non-conforming material is correctly identified, segregated, and documented per RBAC's quality procedures.
- Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001/14001/45001, BSI Kitemark, customer audits) with accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with molding, fettling, and coating sections to flag quality issues at the earliest stage.
