Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed energy audits, DISCOM (Distribution
Company) performance audits, and preparing Measurement & Verification (M&V;) reports as per
prescribed methodologies. The role involves data collection, analysis, energy conservation
prospect identification, estimation of energy and cost savings, and preparation of
comprehensive technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Energy Audit:
• Conduct walkthrough and detailed energy audits at industries, commercial buildings, and
other establishments.
• Collect energy consumption data, conduct field measurements using instruments (lux
meter, power analyzer, etc.).
• Identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs).
• Analyze equipment performance: motors, HVAC, compressors, boilers, lighting, etc.
• Calculate baseline energy consumption and potential energy savings.
• Estimate Return on Investment (ROI) and payback period.




• Prepare detailed energy audit reports with actionable recommendations.
2. DISCOM Audit:
• Audit electricity distribution network performance.
• Collect and verify feeder-wise, DT-wise, and consumer category-wise technical and
commercial data.
• Identify areas of energy loss, theft, and system inefficiencies.
• Analyze metering, billing, and collection efficiency.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports for DISCOM performance improvement.

3. M&V; Audit:
• Develop M&V; plans.
• Measure and verify energy savings post-implementation of ECMs or ESCO projects.
• Conduct on-site data monitoring and instrument-based verification.
• Compare actual vs baseline performance and adjust for independent variables.
• Prepare accurate, transparent M&V; reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: B.E. / B.Tech /M.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) preferred.
• Experience: 24 yea
