Rain Cements, a thirty-nine-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is seeking the experienced DGM-QC.
DGM - Quality Control (Cement Industry) | Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead quality control and quality assurance activities for raw materials, clinker, and cement.
- Monitor and maintain product quality as per BIS/ISO and customer requirements.
- Manage chemical and physical laboratories, including testing and calibration activities.
- Control process quality parameters to ensure consistent clinker and cement quality.
- Coordinate with production, mining, and maintenance teams for quality improvement.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001/ISO 17025).
- Lead, train, and develop QC staff and laboratory teams.
- Prepare quality reports, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure laboratory safety and adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.
Profile Summary: Experienced Quality Control skilled with expertise in cement manufacturing, laboratory management, cement chemistry, process optimization, quality assurance, ISO systems, and team leadership. Responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements :
- 15-25 years of experience in QC (Quality Control) or related field in the chemicals industry.
- M.E./M. Tech in Chemical Engineering, cement Technology, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
