Role Description

Manager position in our firm to lead the accounting team and handle client delivery.

Responsibilities
- Ownership of accounting and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Preparation, review and reporting of financial statements.
- Preparation of account schedules on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.




- Ensure and monitor the closing of books in line with the applicable accounting standards and within the deadlines, after passing accruals and all closing entries.
- Making elimination entries of transactions and balances during consolidation.
- Performing translations of foreign currency balances and transactions at month-ends and arriving at exchange gain or loss.
- Developing and implementing best accounting practices, processes and systems across the Group
- Dealing with any accounting issues that arise during the month-end process
- Coordinate with auditors, take day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the audit process
- Develop and maintain internal control checklists to facilitate accuracy and integrity
- Independent review of processes to identify scope for efficiency and adherence to internal controls
