Key Responsibilities

* Conduct technical field visits to dealers, distributors, irrigation/agriculture companies, and plastic companies

* Independently negotiate and close sales deals with clients in office

* Explain and demonstrate plastic processing concepts where relevant — injection moulding, rotomoulding, extrusion, compounding — to clients who manufacture allied plastic products or want technical clarity on raw material/process compatibility

* Resolve technical objections and queries raised by clients

* Coordinate with production/QA team to address client complaints, product customization requests, and technical documentation needs

* Conduct site surveys, feasibility checks

* Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers

* Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets through effective deal closure

* Maintain reports on client visits, technical discussions, and deal status (CRM/Excel)

* Travel extensively within assigned territory for client meetings, site visits, and exhibitions

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation:





* Diploma/B.Tech in Plastic Technology, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (preferred)

* Graduate in any stream with strong technical exposure to plastics will also be considered

Experience:

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in the polymer/plastic industry, with technical field sales exposure

* Strong working knowledge of plastic processing methods: injection moulding, rotomoulding, extrusion, blow moulding, compounding, etc

* Prior experience in HDPE/PVC pipes, plastic granules, polymer compounding, or allied plastic product sales is highly preferred

* Demonstrated track record of closing technical sales deals independently in the field

Language Skills:

* Fluent in Hindi and English (mandatory)

* Knowledge of an additional regional language (Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, etc.) added advantage

Technical Skills:

* Sound understanding of polymer properties
