We are seeking a strategic and highly connected
Head – Policy & Advocacy
to establish and lead Garuda's Government Affairs and Policy function from New Delhi. The role will serve as the primary interface between the company and government ministries, regulatory authorities, industry associations, defence organisations, and policy stakeholders.

This leader will play a critical role in influencing policy, strengthening strategic partnerships, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring Garuda remains at the forefront of India's drone and aerospace ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Government Relations:
- Build and maintain solid relationships with Central and State Government stakeholders.
- Engage regularly with ministries including:
- Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA)
- Ministry of Defence (MoD)
- Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)




- Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY)
- DPIIT
- DGCA
- NSCS
- DRDO
- CDS/Services Headquarters
- Represent the organization during meetings with senior government officials.

Policy & Regulatory Affairs:
- Monitor evolving government policies impacting drones, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze policy developments and advise leadership on business implications.
- Recommend policy interventions and advocacy strategies.
- Draft policy notes, consultation responses, white papers, and strategic position papers.

Industry Advocacy: Represent the organisation across the following:
- Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM)
- Drone Federation of India
- FICCI
- CII
- ASSOCHAM
- Government working groups
- Task forces
- Policy committees
- Develop strong relationships with industry leaders and ecosystem partners.

Strategic Business Development:
- Support strategic engagements with govern
