Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Sales is responsible for supporting the hotel's sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving revenue targets across room sales, banquets, conferences, and other hotel services. The role involves market research, client visits, contract negotiations, and coordination with internal departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase hotel revenue.
- Generate room, banquet, conference, wedding, and corporate business.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain solid relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and government accounts.
- Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.




- Resolve customer concerns in coordination with operational departments.

Revenue Generation
- Promote hotel rooms, F&B; outlets, banquet facilities, and special packages.
- Upsell hotel services to maximise revenue.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Coordination
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, F&B;, Banquets, and Finance to ensure smooth execution of events and group bookings.
- Attend operational meetings for upcoming groups and events.
- Ensure all client requirements are communicated accurately to the operations team.

Sales Administration
- Maintain an updated database of clients and prospects.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Update CRM records and sales pipelines.
- Assist in preparing annual sales plans and budgets.

Marketing Support
- Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, travel fairs, and networking events.
