Job Description: Sr. Executive - Billing

Qualifications

Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in business, finance, or healthcare administration

Department: Billing

Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on hospital practice.

Role

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately compile and generate invoices for inpatient and outpatient services, integrating costs for consultations, lab tests, pharmacy, and procedures.
- Verify patient health insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and submit error-free claims to insurance providers or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
- Post incoming payments from patients and insurers, reconcile accounts, and identify or appeal denied claims.
- Address patient queries regarding their medical bills, explain payment options or insurance coverage, and resolve billing disputes.
- Maintain precise documentation of all transactions,



adhering strictly to healthcare financial policies and data privacy regulations.

Skills
- Experience utilizing Hospital Management Systems (HMS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and medical billing software.
- Strong verbal and written skills to interact with medical staff, insurance agents, and patients effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, billing codes, and insurance claim processing procedures.
