About the Role

Unique Chemical Industries is looking for a proactive
Procurement Coordinator
to manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure the timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities
- Source raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and chemical items.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Raise Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify current vendors.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for smooth procurement operations.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare periodic MIS reports.




- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Preferred Industry Experience:
Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Paints & Coatings, Adhesives, Polymers, Resins, Packaging, or Manufacturing.
