About the Role

KIHT is seeking a Health Economist to support Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and evidence-based healthcare decision-making. The role involves economic evaluations, modelling, data analysis, evidence synthesis, and policy-oriented research across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health technologies, and public health interventions.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Cost-Effectiveness, Cost-Utility, Budget Impact, and other economic evaluations.
- Develop and validate Decision Tree, Markov, and other health economic models.
- Perform systematic literature reviews and evidence synthesis.
- Analyze clinical, epidemiological, cost, and outcomes data.
- Support HTA and HEOR projects for healthcare technologies and interventions.
- Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, policymakers, industry, and international organizations.
- Contribute to training, capacity-building,



and research dissemination activities.

Qualifications

Essential
- Masters degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Health Economics, HTA, HEOR, economic evaluation, decision-analytic modelling, healthcare research, or public health research.
- Solid quantitative, analytical, and research skills.

Preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare datasets and evidence-based policy research.
- Experience with Excel, R, Python, Stata, SPSS, TreeAge, or similar analytical tools.
