Job Title: Business Development Manager

– Environmental Testing Laboratory

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to expand our Environmental Testing Laboratory business.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying recent clients, generating leads, managing customer relationships, and promoting environmental testing services including water, wastewater, air, soil, stack emission, and environmental monitoring services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries, manufacturing units, infrastructure projects, consultants, and government sectors.

Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.

Promote laboratory testing and environmental monitoring services.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.





Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams for service delivery.

Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client concerns.

Market Analysis

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging environmental regulations.

Identify potential growth areas and new service opportunities.

Maintain updated

customer and market databases.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with laboratory operations, sampling teams, and quality departments.

Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and payment collections.

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

MBA in Marketing/Business Development is preferred.
