Job Summary

The Purchase Runner Boy / Purchase Assistant is responsible for supporting the Purchase Department by collecting materials, delivering purchase-related documents, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely movement of materials and records. The role requires punctuality, honesty, and the ability to work efficiently with internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver purchase-related documents, samples, and materials between suppliers and the company.
- Visit vendors for material collection, quotations, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding material dispatch and delivery status.
- Assist the Purchase Executive in following up on urgent purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased materials to the factory.
- Maintain proper records of bills, invoices, e-way bills, and delivery documents.
- Support the stores team in receiving and verifying purchased materials.
- Arrange local transportation for urgent procurement requirements.
- Handle banking, courier,



and other official purchase-related errands when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of company documents and purchase information.
- Follow company safety rules and administrative procedures.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of purchase and procurement activities.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Familiarity with local routes and vendor locations.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English and Hindi/Punjabi.
- Two-wheeler driving licence preferred.

Qualification
- Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass.
- Prior experience in purchase support, office assistant, or runner activities will be an advantage.

- 0–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial companies.
