ABOUT US

AudioMax Retail is an early-stage retail-tech startup building AI-powered in-store audio advertising. We help independent and regional grocery stores promote the right product at the right hour — automatically, in the language their customers speak. We're small, moving fast, and looking for our first Business Development Representative to help us grow.

THE ROLE

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the face of AudioMax on the ground in Trivandrum — reaching out to store owners, booking meetings, running in-person demos, and helping us sign our first customers in the region. This is a field role, not a desk job: most of your week will be spent visiting stores, not sitting behind a screen.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Identify and reach out to independent and regional retail stores across Trivandrum
- Visit stores in person to demo our solution and meet with owners and store management
- Book and run meetings, both in-person and virtual,



to explain how AudioMax works
- Follow up with prospects and manage a simple pipeline through to close
- Share what you learn from the field to help us improve our pitch and product

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 0–2 years of experience in sales or business development — freshers are genuinely welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face conversations with business owners
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
- Own two-wheeler (motorbike/scooter) preferred — regular travel between stores across the city is a core part of the role
