Role Description
The Accounts Payable Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, India, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable function. This role manages invoice processing, vendor payments, accruals, and journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of liabilities. The Accounts Payable Manager supervises a team, establishes and maintains internal controls, and reviews reconciliations and aging reports to resolve discrepancies. Daily tasks include approving payment runs,



coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end close. The role also contributes to process improvements, system enhancements, and compliance with financial and audit requirements.

Qualifications
- Strong accounting foundations, including Accounting, Journal Entries (Accounting), and Accruals.
- Solid Finance knowledge and experience managing accounts payable processes and controls.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
- Experience leading and coaching accounting or finance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation is an asset.
