Role Description
The Lead Engineer Seals role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area within the Automotive and Farm Equipment Business. The role involves leading the design, development, validation,



and optimization of seals and sealing systems for automotive and farm equipment applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure robust sealing solutions that meet performance, safety, and cost targets. The Lead Engineer will review and interpret technical specifications, perform root-cause analysis on sealing-related issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials, design, and manufacturing processes. The position also includes preparing technical documentation, supporting prototype and production builds, and mentoring junior team members to uphold engineering best practices.
