About the Role:

We are hiring students as Shorts Video Creators / Editors. You will create and post short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc.) covering local Belagavi news as well as important Karnataka and India-wide news. This is a paid opportunity perfect for students who want to earn while building real content-creation experience. You do not need to be a professional video editor — basic shorts-style editing skills are enough.

What You’ll Do:

Create short,



engaging videos (15–60 seconds) from news content provided by the team.

Edit simple shorts using basic tools — add text, captions, music, transitions, and voice-over when needed.

Cover Belagavi local news plus selected important news from Karnataka and all of India.

Post the finished videos on our platforms according to the given schedule.

Follow simple brand guidelines for style, tone, and accuracy.

Maintain basic documentation of the videos you create and post.

What You Bring:

Currently a student (college / university).

Basic video editing experience for short-form content (YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels style).

Familiarity with straightforward editing apps such as Canva, CapCut, VN, InShot, or similar free tools.

Ability to work with mobile or basic computer editing.

Good understanding of current affairs (especially Karnataka and India news is a plus).
