*Collaborate with Project Manager to determine the project/product requirements.
*Preparing the technical requirements of the product and collaborating with internal stake holders.
*Develop technical concepts for addressing the customer needs and apply tools and techniques for converting customer requirements into optimum equipment design
*Preparing supporting engineering calculations for the selection of machine elements
*Co-ordinate with suppliers for correct selection of the components and implement in the concept.
*Preparation of cost estimation for the technical concept and analysing the variance between the targeted cost and estimated cost. Optimization of Concepts/ Designs to meet the target costing.
*Co-ordinate and participate in design reviews with cross functional teams.
*Coordinate and review engineering schedules with project team members
*Review and approve technical documentation for functionality, quality and safety requirements.
*Co-ordinate between internal and external stake holders for technical clarification.
*Monitor internal timeline requirements as committed during kick-off meeting and take necessary corrective actions for the same.
