The SCM Executive is responsible for planning, procurement, inventory control, vendor coordination, and material availability to ensure uninterrupted production in the machine shop. The role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and procure raw materials, consumables, and bought-out items required for machine shop operations.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock.
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO).
- Track material shortages and expedite critical supplies.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Finance departments.
- Verify material receipts and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in SAP.
- Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, delivery, and cost.




- Support cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly SCM reports.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Stores, preferably in a machine shop or manufacturing setting.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory management
- SAP knowledge is preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong communication and coordination skills
