Role Description
This is a contract Software Engineer role based in Guwahati, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing functionality, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation,



and working closely with product and QA teams to deliver stable releases on schedule.

Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Computer Science principles and Software Development practices.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining server-side applications.
- Proficiency in Programming with at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/Node.js).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to analyze requirements, break down complex problems, and propose effective technical solutions.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within hybrid teams across onsite and remote settings.
