Role Description
The Solar Tender & Bids Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender and bidding process for solar projects, including reviewing tender documents, defining bid strategy, and coordinating technical and commercial inputs. The manager prepares and writes proposals, ensures compliance with client requirements, and maintains timelines and documentation for all bid activities. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal stakeholders, gathering market and pricing intelligence, monitoring tender portals, and maintaining a pipeline of upcoming opportunities. The role also involves tracking bid outcomes, preparing reports for management, and continuously improving bid processes to increase win rates.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Bid Preparation and Bid Writing skills,



including drafting compliant and compelling technical and commercial proposals.
- Candidates should possess Bid Management and Proposal Management skills to coordinate cross-functional inputs and oversee end-to-end tender submissions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Bid Processes, including tender evaluation, risk assessment, documentation control, and post-bid follow-up.
- Solid understanding of solar energy projects, EPC or renewable sector experience, and familiarity with government and private tender norms.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work collaboratively with diverse teams, and maintain organized records of all bids.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; a background in renewable energy or project management is an advantage.
