Role & responsibilities
1. Ensure implementation of best safe practices, upkeep and main tenance of safety relevant installations and machinery as well as of safety and fire fighting equipments.
2. Ensure full compliance with statutory and/or Corporate norms including safety, operating and storage permits.
3. Conducting daily safety inspections, sending Monthly HSE inspection Report.
4. Ensure appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist.
5. Support 5S Coordinator in implementation of 5S & Kaizen activities
6. Support Safety In-charge in all HSE activities including ,promotional events ,developing current documents ,Safety Procedures ,HIRARC ,OHC activities, HSE Software data update, Safety Audits.
7. Resolve all day-to-day HSE performance issues through effective liaison and guidance to the operation teams.
8. Manage the investigation of workplace accidents, incidents, and injuries,
determine root causes and preventive measures & Collect the Incident Report, update the Incident Board & ensure the compliance of corrective actions. Record it in HSE software
9. Recommend process and machine safety features that will reduce employees exposure to chemical work hazards.
10. Support Safety In-charge in reporting HSE KPI's in accordance with SW corporate guidelines on regular basis.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualification - BE Chemical / M.Sc.( Chemistry / Environmental Science) with PGDIS / ADIS from recognize institute approved by Central or State government . (Technical Education Board). RLI will be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a chemical industry/ petrochemical industry.
