AgentR is a General Catalyst-backed seed-stage startup building WebCMD, a self-learning browser infrastructure for AI agents.

The Role

Not traditional content creator, developer-native builder/communicator who owns growth from first experiment to repeatable playbook. Starts hands-on (talking to users, writing, recording, running experiments) and systematizes what works for the team to scale.

You May Be a Fit If You:
- Worked at an early-stage OSS dev-tools startup (Seed–Series A ideal)
- Have created technical online presence (medium blogs, Personal X/Reddit, Youtube, Github Repos)
- Speak credibly to technical users, no generic marketing language
- Know developer communities: GitHub, Reddit, HN, Discord, X
- Understand the X algorithm and can craft technical posts/threads/demos that earn attention without bait
- Do Reddit social listening — pain points, sentiment, community insight → content/product feedback
- Know how to promote on Reddit transparently, respecting subreddit rules
- Create solid dev content: READMEs, blogs, docs, launch posts, tutorials, videos




- Have run growth experiments end-to-end (hypothesis → ship → measure → iterate) and turned wins into playbooks others can execute

3–5 years preferred, not required — evidence of developer trust and measurable growth matters more.

What You'll Do

*Open-Source GTM & Distribution*
- Own top-of-funnel growth across OSS/dev channels and content
- Experiment across GitHub, Reddit, HN, X, LinkedIn, Discord, newsletters, partnerships
- Build an X content engine (topics, hooks, formats, timing) driven by performance data
- Build Reddit social listening + trust-based promotion playbooks
- Define metrics, measure, iterate, document winning playbooks, scale via team

*DevRel & Community*
- Be AgentR's credible technical voice
- Talk regularly with developers/early users on workflows, objections, language
- Run demos, walkthroughs, talks, workshops, AMAs
- Build relationships with adopters, contributor
