We are looking for a technically strong and highly organised
Assistant Designer – Product Development
to support the Creative Director in converting approved design concepts into explicit, accurate and production-ready documentation.

The role will coordinate closely with the Production & Merchandising Manager, Master, tailors, embroidery units, vendors and sampling team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, specification sheets and embroidery placement sheets

• Maintain fabric swatches, colour references, trims and material records

• Prepare bill-of-material details for every style





• Maintain style codes, collection records and technical documentation

• Follow up on sample development and coordinate fittings

• Record fitting comments, corrections and approved amendments

• Communicate approved design details to sampling and production teams

• Prepare line sheets and retailer presentation materials

• Archive approved samples, photographs and final documents

• Assist with styling and collection development

Role Boundaries

This role does not have independent authority to change designs, fabrics, colours, embroideries, silhouettes or construction details.

All design changes must be approved by Rashi Kapoor before being communicated to sampling or production.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in couture, bridal, occasion wear or designer wear

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, embroidery, measurements an
