The Civil Project Planning Engineer / Planning Manager will be responsible for project planning, milestone monitoring, resource coordination, procurement tracking, and progress reporting across multiple construction projects. The role requires close coordination with site engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and project management to ensure projects are executed as per approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling

Prepare detailed project schedules, milestone plans, and execution timelines for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity sequencing for effective project execution.

Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays or risks.

Review and consolidate project milestone plans submitted by Site Engineers.

Support preparation of baseline schedules, revised schedules, and recovery plans whenever required.

Ensure project activities are aligned with committed completion targets and delivery timelines.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting





Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress and update planning records.

Analyze schedule variances and identify critical path activities affecting project delivery.

Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and milestone status reports for management review.

Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding project performance and schedule adherence.

Maintain project planning documentation and progress records.

Procurement & Resource Coordination

Review material requirement plans and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) submitted by project teams.

Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material ordering and delivery as per project schedules.

Monitor procurement status and proactively highlight potential shortages or delays.

Assist in planning manpower, equipment, and resource deployment based on project requirements.

Support project teams in ensuring resources are available
