Role & responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete production department
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet targets on schedule
- Improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency across the shop floor
- Manage manpower planning, production scheduling, and machine utilization
- Coordinate with Purchase, Design, Quality, and Stores departments
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Reduce production downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, rejection rate, OEE, and on-time delivery

Preferred candidate profile :




- 10-15 years' experience in production/manufacturing, with mandatory exposure to Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Equipment manufacturing
- Solid hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly
- Proven expertise in production planning, scheduling, and manpower management
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of RCA, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma is an added advantage
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering required
